This new position is a high-level, administrative position with Highway Equipment Company, and the position reports to the Vice President, Finance. SERVICE MANAGER- Zelienople, PA

After 30 years of service with Highway Equipment Company, our Service Manager is retiring. This position is a highly responsible management position with Highway Equipment Company, and the position reports to the Product Support Manager. This person must be a self-starter with self-discipline and have excellent communication and listening skills. The person in this position will work with a high degree of independence. The primary responsibilities will be: Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department for repairs and maintenance of company-owned and customer equipment Coordinate work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs Assure the maintenance of the department is in good order and in accordance with safety requirements Provide training and assistance to mechanics Evaluate equipment after repairs, maintenance and/or safety checks Ensure company policies and procedures are followed This person must be a self-starter with self-discipline and have excellent communication and listening skills. The person in this position will work with a high degree of independence.
